A playhouse
Habitat for Humanity builds playhouses for young kids to enjoy in their neighborhoods and schools. These playhouses are sponsored by corporations and raise funds that Habitat uses for new builds and improving old homes. I was responsible for prefabrication while the corporate teams assembled them on site. My time volunteering with them allows me to keep practicing my construction skills while learning about the housing crisis that surrounds the bay area and many other cities.
